We’re thrilled to announce that our very own Kevin Loomis, the brains behind product development at ecomdash, is a finalist in the Charlotte Business Journal’s 3rd Annual CIO of the Year Awards.
This program honors IT executives and emerging leaders who demonstrate excellence in a variety of technology initiatives. This includes the ability to use information technology to optimize business processes, enable growth, improve customer experience, create competitive advantages and more. Winners hail from small, large and non-profit/government organizations, with a category reserved exclusively for up-and-coming leaders. Last year’s finalists work for well-known establishments like LPL Financial, ACN North America and Charlotte Mecklenburg School Systems.
As a finalist, Kevin has demonstrated the qualities needed to perform as an innovative and customer-driven CIO. Kevin wants ecomdash to be the best possible ecommerce technology for our customers, and executes an agile product development environment to ensure our developers can make adjustments based on customer and market needs as they arise. He hires both young and seasoned senior talent with the goal in mind of creating sustaining careers for them. In turn, ecomdash employees work hard and dedicate themselves fully to the ecomdash mission of being the best answer for our small/medium business customers. He assists with fundraising and is responsible for technology deliverables including design, coding, testing, implementation, hardware and support. The ecommerce SaaS industry is competitive, and Kevin works tirelessly to establish ecomdash as a leading software solution.
Being that ecomdash came to fruition just a few years ago and didn’t launch out of beta until early 2014, it’s a great testament to our leadership team that ecomdash has been recognized with other innovative tech and business awards. Kevin receiving recognition for his direction is a win for everyone on the ecomdash team.
