They all have different format inventory files. Is there any extension or tool available to automatically import them?
Yes – there is a tool that can help with the import of new inventory from suppliers and dropshippers. Ecomdash inventory, order, shipping and listing management software has specific functionality built in to assist sellers who source goods from suppliers. Through the use of our feed management system, you can auto-import inventory from dropshippers and suppliers and sync new balances across sales channels. Here’s how it works.
The ecomdash feed management application enables you to import supplier inventory through an FTP or HTTP location in CSV format. Within the software, you can determine how often you would like these feeds to be pulled. At each pre-determined interval, ecomdash will import a new inventory feed from your suppliers and dropshippers. Do you use multiple dropshippers? No problem, we handle that too. Inventory quantities of products within the ecomdash software will be adjusted. If you have auto-sync turned on, ecomdash can then sync these balances across your sales channels for a hands-off, real-time adjustment. This is especially helpful during seasons with high order volume. As ecomdash auto-syncs new inventory balances across channels, you’ll be able to provide shoppers with a real-time, accurate view into what you have available.
Our feed management system works in both directions – you can also auto-send sales orders to suppliers and dropshippers. This can be completed via your third party provider’s API. If they don’t have one, our dropshipping management software enables you to email sales orders in the format your supplier prefers. Whether the communication of sales orders is done via API or email, it is hands-off and automatic, so that you don’t need to worry about checking sales channels for new orders 24/7. Within the dropship module, users can manage and categorize multiple warehouses from one central screen.
