Though we integrated with popular website provider Shopify a few months ago, we wanted to inform our customers that along with that integration, ecomdash now works with and pulls information from Shopify POS. In addition to managing your Shopify inventory and sales orders, ecomdash will also handle all incoming data from your brick-and-mortar stores that you’ve synced with Shopify POS.
Much like our Vend integration, this data sync will allow you to manage and control your inventory levels and pull sales orders from your physical stores for better control of moving products. With ecomdash’s built in shipping module and the ability to communicate with and send purchase orders to suppliers, ecomdash customers now have full omnichannel automation. Integrating with Shopify POS will enable you to eliminate the risk of overselling and keep you from wasting valuable time updating inventory quantities on ecommerce sales channels when a product sells in your store. You can manage all your stores and sales channels from one platform.
Shopify’s point of sale software, which was previously available as an added service, is now FREE and available to all existing customers.
If you don’t currently have a brick-and-mortar location, Shopify POS is also ideal for selling on the go at trade shows and fairs. Use it for any face-to-face transactions, and have peace of mind that your ecommerce data is up-to-date and accurate. Trade shows, craft fairs, and farmers markets are a great way to connect with local customers and help build a stronger presence in your community.
Do you use Shopify POS, or have you been using Vend? Both are great point-of-sale system providers, and we’re glad we can offer both options to our customers. If you were waiting for an inventory software that integrated with Shopify and Shopify POS, sign up for a free trial with ecomdash today.
