From eBay to Ecomdash – Downloading Your Listed Products

First of all – welcome to ecomdash! We’re so glad you’re here, and we’re here to help. You might be wondering how to get all your eBay listings into ecomdash. Fret not! Uploading your inventory to ecomdash is a one-time process, and we’ll take you through it step by step.

First, you’ll need to create a CSV file (if you don’t already have one). The most common way to create a CSV file is to use a spreadsheet program such as Microsoft Excel. (In Microsoft Excel, just select File > Save As…, then select “CSV (comma delimited) (*.csv)” in the “Save As Type” drop-down selector.)

Next, use File Exchange to download your CSV files from eBay. Wondering what to do if you don’t have File Exchange? Just do a quick download  – it’ a free software for eBay sellers (though all standard eBay fees apply to any eBay listings uploaded using eBay File Exchange.)

Once you have installed, follow these steps to import your listings directly from eBay into File Exchange.

From the File Exchange Center, go to Create a Download Request from the File Exchange Center.
Select Active from the Listings and records drop-down menu.
Enter the email address where you want to be notified when the file is done.
Save your request. You can locate your completed filed from the Completed Downloads section.
You will need to modify the column headers and relevant information to ensure the file complies with the rules for adding an item.
Then, upload your inventory into ecomdash. This can be a one-time event, as ecomdash will now track and record all of your listing, order and inventory information.

That’s it! Your inventory is now successfully uploaded into ecomdash. If you still have questions or need a little more help setting up your inventory, just let us know.
